This Downgrade update is proposed by the Team WiiKey™ to the owners of PS3Key™ to downgrade PS3/PS3™ Slim consoles in 3.42 and 3.50 firmwares in favor of a lower firmware (3.41 for example).
Possible downgrade of PS3 FAT consoles with 3.55 firmware (warning, not compatible PS3 Slim because brick risk).
WARNING: Downgrading your firmware will cause a factory reset of the PS3™ and the loss of any profiles and savefiles stored on the hard drive.
NB: Please note that depending on your version of PS3Key™ you must select the appropriated update file and method :
- PS3Key V1 (Atmel) : Requires use of PS3Key Configurator v1.1
- PS3Key V2/V3 (Silabs) : Requires first to delete the old firmware.bin file of the dongle and then copy the new firmware.bin file instead
Note: On PC, copying the firmware using the software "Super Copy 2" is impossible except to erase the entire contents of the dongle. So use the basic transfer software that came with Windows™.
Advice: For Silabs version, think to save your INDEX.HTM file on your computer in case of accidental erasing.
