XBOX 360 : Check its drive model

Currently, 4 drive models are identified for XBOX 360™ console (listed from newest to oldest) :
- Lite-On DG-16D2S (Lite-On/Philips®)
- BenQ VAD6038 (BenQ/Philips®)
- Samsung TS-H943 (Samsung/Toshiba®)
- Hitachi GDR-3120L (Hitachi/LG®)

To differentiate them, you need to eject the drive tray and compare its shape to the various models presented in picture below.
 

About BenQ® and Lite-On® drives (their drive tray being the same), it is necessary to remove/unclip the faceplate of the console to determine the wires color visible through the hole in the right (marked in yellow on the picture below) :
- White wires = BenQ VAD6038
- Yellow wires = Lite-On DG-16D2S
